On March 22nd, 2017, PPA organized an exchange forum
"50'open" to listen to sharing of teachers, legal experts and
criminal justice students.

On March 23rd, 2017, PPA in cooperation with the Theoretical Subcommittee
on Social Order and Safety, MPS’s Theoretical Council held the Scientific Conference:
“Preventing transnational organized crime in the
establishment of the ASEAN Community - A Theoretical perspective”.

On March 21st, 2017, the PPA organized Opening
ceremony of short-term training course on “Crime prevention in the context of international
integration” for 20 officers and students of the Royal Thai Police Academy
(RTPA). Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA
attended and chaired the ceremony.

On March 21st, 2017, PPA held the Science Seminar
"Trends in training Forensic Science Police force in current period".
Major General, Prof.Dr. Ho Trong Ngu, Vice President of PPA presided over the
seminar.

On March 21st, the delegation of Ministry of
Interiorof Cambodia led by General Samrirh Di, Deputy Minister of State -
Ministry of Interior of Cambodia visited PPA and met the Cambodian students studying
at Academy. Major General, Assoc.Prof.DrTran Minh Chat, Vice President of PPA received
the delegation.

On March 10th, 2017, Prof. Francoise BarreSinoussi
gave a practical report to officers, lecturers and students of PPA with the
theme "Challenges to stop the HIV epidemic". She is a doctor,
scientist who discovered the HIV virus and was awarded the Nobel Prize for
Medicine for this achievement.

On March 16th, the Ministry of Public Security of
Vietnam (MPS) hosted an official reception for a high-ranking delegation of the
Ministry of Security of Laos, led by Minister Somkeo Silavong.

On March 16th, 2017, Lieutenant General,
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA paid a courtesy meeting to Mr.
Kim Jinoh, Country Director of KOICA Vietnam on the occasion of beginning his
tenure in Vietnam.

The period 2012 - 2016 has confirmed
the strong development of the Women’s Union of PPA in terms of organizational
structure, quantity of members and quality of movement activities.

In the morning of March 9th, the PPA in
cooperation with Party Committee, People's Committee of Dat Mui Commune, Ngoc
Hien District, Ca Mau Province inaugurated Khao Thi Bridge.

On February 28th, 2017, the Department of Student
Management and the Youth Union jointly organized a Ceremony to launch the
Campaign “Building the People's Public Security style “Bravery, humanity, for
the people to serve”” and the Youth Month 2017 for students. This is one of
many activities of the PPA Youth Union to mark the 86th anniversary of
foundation of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and to celebrate the 17thCommunist
Youth Union Congress of PPA.

On February 28th, 2017, the Department of Student

With more than 6,000 members, the PPA Youth Union has always promoted dynamism, creativity and initiative, made effort in learning, actively participated in volunteer activities for community, contributing to the development of PPA with a historical depth of nearly 50 years of formation.

On March 1st, PPAcoordinated with the Public
Security Department of Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province held the ceremony of
inaugurating and handing-over a gratitude house, worth VND170 million for
heroic Vietnamese mothers Pham ThiTien (DienQuangcommune, Dien Ban town, Quang
Nam province).

Within the framework of
cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the
Australian Federal Police (AFP), from February 17th to 27th,
2017, the participants of 42nd Asia Region Law Enforcement Management Program
(ARLEMP 42) had a program of work at the PPA.
