On August 9th, 2017, the PPA organized the closing ceremony of the 2nd training course for the officers planned to be Deputy Head of Division and equivalence in People’s Public Security forces in 2017. In order to educate the tradition for the officers, lecturers and students of the PPA, celebrate the 72th traditional day of Vietnamese Public Security force, 50th traditional day of Vietnamese People's Police Academy (May 15th, 1968 - May 15th, 2018), the PPA held the inauguration ceremony of Hung King Statue on the campus of the Academy.

On July 26th, 2017, the PPA solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for the 38th regular training courses (D38), the 25thLaos student training course (D25 Laos) and 2nd Cambodia student training course (D2 Cambodia), school year 2012 - 2017. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son - Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the ceremony.
