On May 25th, 2017, the PPA successfully held the doctoral thesis defense of Postgraduate student Cao Hoang Long in English at institutional level. Senior Lieutenant General, Assoc. On May 25th, 2017, the PPA held the scientific workshop “Improving the good teaching quality at PPA” to preliminarily review the implementation of Circular No.56/2010/TT-BCA dated December 14th, 2010 of the Minister of Public Security that regulates the good teaching in police training institutions.

Within the framework of cooperation activities of the Association of Police Training Institutions in Asia (APTA), from May 14th - 17th, 2017, the PPA assigned officers to attend the 1st meeting for liaison officers of APTA members hosted by the APTA Secretariat and the Philippine National Police Academy in Manila, the Philippines.
