In recent years, training the criminal
procedure law is one of the strong fields of the PPA. In order to further
improve the education quality to serve the practical demand in the current
period, on November 5th, 2014, the Department of Law held the
seminar on career orientation for students of Criminal Procedure Law Speciality.

Neither breaking out as “The colors” nor
landing impetuously as “Night Storm”, the recent guitar show “The Avenger”
co-held by the PPA’s Guitar Club and the guitar clubs of some universities brought
the entirely fresh and interesting feelings.

On October 28th 2014, the students
of Faculty of Environmental Crime Prevention listened to the actual report on
the work of criminal investigation and experience of reconnaissance officer of Department
of Environmental Crime Prevention, Hanoi Metropolitan Police.

On October
10th, 2014, the PPA in cooperation with Tam Viet group held the
course on the soft skills for life at the hall A of the PPA.

Towards the 70-year anniversary of the
traditional day of People's Police Forces (August 19th, 1945 -
2015), the 10 years of festival of nation security protection of the whole
people and the Vietnamese Teacher's Day (20th November), on November
4th, 2014, at the indoor sporting hall, the PPA held a opening ceremony
of Football - Table Tennis tournament for all officers, teachers, employees and
students. Major General, Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA and leaders
of the functional units attended and cheered for the athletes.

As a part of the
festival week "Youths of the Academy of Journalism and Communication
toward the Homeland’s sea and islands", on March 22nd, 2014, at
the Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC), the camping festival with
title “From Dien Bien Phu to Homeland’s sea and island" with many
attractive programs was co-held by the youths of the AJC, the PPA and National Academy
of Public Administration (NAPA).

On September 24th,
2013, at the Cultural Centre of Cam Khe District, the PPA in cooperation with
the Public Security Department of Phu Tho Province and the Youth Union of Cam
Khe District held the program on cultural exchange and presenting the Certificate
of Merit to the officers and students of the PPA for their excellent
achievements during the social and political practice period in Cam Khe
District.

After over a month to prepare and participate elimination round, on April 10th, 2012, the PPA held the final round of good monitor contest with the title: “If I were a head of student management department”.

On March 23rd, the PPA held a martial arts festival to celebrate the Sports Day of Vietnam (March 27th) and 50-years anniversary traditional day of police force (1962-2012). Performing together at the festival were officers and soldiers from the High Command of Mobile Police (Ministry of Public Security), the High Command of Commando (Ministry of Defense) and the martial art students of the Bao Long Pharmaceutical Company.

Ngo Thi Bich Thu, the second winner of the first miss PPA contest, is not only beautiful but also talent with many significant achievements in learning and youth movement at the PPA

In response to the World Blood Donor Day (June 14th) and implementing blood donation program “Sentimental blood for beloved comrades” mobilized by the MPS, on May 30th, the PPA Steering Committee of Blood Donation Campaign in cooperation with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion under the Bach Mai Hospital, 19-8 Hospital under the MPS launched blood donation campaign “blood donation to save life for a healthy community”.

The activities are very plentiful and diverse at the People's Police Academy. After study hours at lecture hall, most students obsess in extra-curricular activities.
