In recent years, training the criminal
procedure law is one of the strong fields of the PPA. In order to further
improve the education quality to serve the practical demand in the current
period, on November 5th, 2014, the Department of Law held the
seminar on career orientation for students of Criminal Procedure Law Speciality.
Attending the seminar were Dr. Nguyen
Van Diep, Head of the Lawyer Training Department, the Justice Academy; Dr. Le
Minh Long, Deputy Director of the Investigation Bureau, the Supreme People's
Procuratorate. As for PPA was Colonel, Dr. Nguyen Dac Hoan, Head of the
Department of Law, leaders of the functional units and a number of officers,
lecturers and students of the Department of Law.

At the seminar, Head of the
Department of Law introduced to the representatives about the organization
structure of the Department and the overview of training programs, the active
learning methods of the criminal procedure law subject in the PPA. Also, the invited
reporters shared the legal obstacles in practice as well as the urgency of
training the criminal procedure law in the current period. Next, the officers,
lecturers and students interacted, exchanged and listened stories on life and
work of the invited guests.

The seminar is also the opportunity
for students to learn more about the specialized knowledge, the role and
significance of the criminal procedure law
in the investigation of criminal cases and the fight against crime, as well
as the demand of training and the learning methods of the criminal procedure
law speciality.

On the occasion, the leader of the Department
of Law also provided the direction for development of the department in the
future to continue to further improve the quality of training for the criminal
procedure law speciality, especially strengthen the practical knowledge to help
the students early access to the practical work after graduation.
