New contributions of the thesis:

1. As one of the first publications in Vietnam, the thesis is the new research project to focus on assessing and analyzing the whole of process of collection, evaluation and use of evidence of Economic Police Force in embezzlement investigation, both theory and practice. In which, some issues are mentioned for the first time such as: Characteristics of embezzlement crime, methods to assess evidences, methods to use evidences in embezzlement investigation. The thesis has pointed out the repetitive characteristics impacts on the collection, evaluation and use of evidence in embezzlement investigation.

2. The thesis has objectively analyzed and evaluated the current situation of activities of collecting, evaluating and using of evidence of Economic Police Force in embezzlement investigation, commented and evaluated the achieved results, pointed out the achievement and limitation, the causes of the limitation as a basis for proposing solutions to handle. 

3. The thesis predicts some new issues related to the collection, evaluation and use of evidence of Economic Police Force. Combined with theoretical and practical issues have been studied, the thesis proposes systematic, comprehensive and feasible solutions to improve the effectiveness of collecting, evaluating and using evidence of Economic Police Force in embezzlement investigation in the coming time.
