On
the occasion of 98 years Anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (7/11/
1917-7/11/2015), on November 5th, 2015, the PPA held a meeting with
the former-postgraduate and students who used to research and study in the
Soviet Union and the Russian Federation. Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen
Xuan Yem, President of the PPA attended and chaired the meeting.
At
the meeting, on behalf of the former-postgraduate and students who used to
research and study in the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation, Major
General, Prof.Dr Ho Trong Ngu - Deputy Chairman of the Security and Defence Committee
of the National Assembly expressed the deeply thanks the PPA’s Party Committee,
Board of Directors for giving the opportunity for them to attend the meeting and review
the memories during the time of hard training abroad.

Sharing
his emotions when coming back to the Academy, he really impressed on the
changes and growth of the Academy with spacious facilities and significant cultural
zones. Especially, he expressed his happy to recognize the achievements on training
and studying of officers, lecturers and students of the Academy in recent
years. He hoped that the PPA would increasingly grow further in the future in
the Cause of training the generations of regular elite police, deserve with the
glorious tradition of the Academy in the previous years.

Closing
the meeting, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the
Academy gave his warm thank to the former-postgraduate and students today. The President
also hoped that the sharing of the older generation would enable the PPA’s
students in general and the students of Russian speciality in particular to enhance
their love on the job and the branch as well as promote spirit of solidarity,
step by step assert position of the Academy in the Cause of protecting national
security and maintaining social order and safety. He suggested that it is
annual date of November 7th to be as a day of meeting of the former-postgraduate
and students who used to researched and studied in the Soviet Union and the
Russian Federation.
