On June 6th, 2018, the PPA held a meeting and presented the Certificates of Merit to two Korean experts for their active contributions to education and training of the PPA.
Attending the meeting were Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA; Mr. Kim Yong Shik - Senior Information Technology Specialist; Mr. Kim Myung Ho - Police Specialist and representatives of functional units of the PPA.
Within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Korea National Police Agency (KNPA); Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), since 2015, KOICA has assigned two experts: Mr. Kim Yong Shik and Mr. Kim Myung Ho to work, support the PPA in the field of Information technology, international cooperation in crime prevention and suppression, etc.
During the 03-year term at the PPA, 02 Korean experts have made active and effective contributions to the education and training of the PPA. Specifically, Mr. Kim Yong Shik has made important contributions in supporting the PPA to build network infrastructure, data, network management consultancy, e-learning, etc. At the same time, they also prepared and performed the actual reports related to the application of information technology in the crime prevention for students of the PPA.
The two experts have actively participated in teaching, performing the reports on topics related to international cooperation, crime prevention and suppression; the experience in fighting crime of the Korean Police Agency, etc. This knowledge are important and have practical significance for the training of the PPA in the current period.

Therefore, before the end of term, the Party Committee, Board of Directors of the PPA decided to award the Certificates of merit to recognize the active contributions of 02 experts on the development of the PPA.
Speaking at the meeting, Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA expressed the deep thanks for the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and two Korean experts in the education and training of the PPA. At the same time, the Vice President of the PPA also hope to receiving more attention of KOICA in continuing to assign experts to work and support the Academy in the coming time.
