On April 25th, 2017, the Signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among the PPA, the Department of Health - Ministry of Public Security, 198 Hospital and Traditional Medicine Hospital - Ministry of Public Security was held at the PPA.
Attending the ceremony were Senior Colonel, Dr. Nguyen Khac Thuy - Deputy Director of Health Department, Ministry of Public Security; Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Sau - Director of 198 Hospital; Major General, Dr. Pham Ba Tuyen - Director of Traditional Medicine Hospital, Ministry of Public Security. As for the PPA were Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of the PPA, members of the Party Committee, Board of Director of the PPA; leaders of functional units of the Academy.

Representatives of 04 agencies signed the MoU
According to the contents of the MoU, the PPA will assist the Department of Health - Ministry of Public Security, 198 Hospital and Traditional Medicine Hospital - Ministry of Public Security in training and fostering the professional knowledge of Public Security force, the 2nd degree certificate training and post-graduate training. At the same time, the PPA will also support the 3 agencies to train and foster the knowledge on national defense and security; train martial arts and professional knowledge for the bodyguards and security staff of the agencies; train, test and grant of driving license; coordinate in the printing of journals, internal journals, books, medical records and other documents.

The Department of Health, 198 Hospital and Traditional Medicine Hospital will assist the PPA in training, practicing and transferring specialized technology for the medical officers of the PPA; support the PPA in propagating and guiding officers and students on disease prevention, health care, food safety and extracurricular activities related to the fight against crime in the medical field.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Director of the PPA, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem - President of the PPA stressed that in order to prove the efficiency of the MoU, the 4 agencies had to work out specific plans in each specialized area. As for the PPA, the Academy would commit to cooperate, exchange in voluntary spirit, willing to help the other agencies according to the ability of the PPA upon requested.
