Responding to
the voluntary program "Sharing blood, Giving hope" and celebrating
the 47-year anniversary of the establishment of the PPA (May 15th, 1968
- 2015), on April 3rd, 2015, the PPA students enthusiastically jointed the blood donation festival “Sentimental blood for beloved
comrades.”
The blood
donation festival which was held by the
PPA Steering Committee of Blood Donation Campaign in cooperation with the
National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, the 19-8 Hospital of
the MPS to aim for mobilizing all officers, lecturers and students to donate
their blood with the effort to meet the needs of treatment for Public Security officers
and support for patients in need of blood for surgery in hospitals.

The blood
donation festival has attracted the participation of a large number of officers,
lecturers and students, especially the students of 40th course of the PPA. Sharing emotions when the
first time participating blood donation, student Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong (B14 -
D40) felt a little trembling and palpitations, but after the doctors finished
the blood-taking, she really felt so happy and be proud of herself for a small
amount of blood to contribute to support many patients in need of blood.

Just in a
morning, more than 500 individuals registered to donate blood and collected 311
units of blood. This is actually a significant voluntary program, expressed the
spirit of willing to share difficulties with the patients as well the pubic-health
branch of the young police officers. This activity will be held annually and promote
better in the future.
