In the series of
activities to commemorate 68 years of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (27th
July, 1947 - 27th July, 2015); to express the gratefulness for the
great merits of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and reunion
of the nation, the happiness of the people; under the consent of the Party
Committee and Directorate of the PPA, the Youth Union of the Academy joined the
Candlelight Ceremony at Martyrs' Cemetery in Hanoi.

The
youth members cleaned the graves of the heroic martyrs
The representatives
of some agencies of the PPA, the Executive Committee and 50 youth members of
the PPA’s Youth Union together with 800 youth members of the partners burned
incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs; cleaned, took care of the graves of
heroic martyrs. Despite the unfavorable weather, the members of PPA’s youth
union in particular and the other units in general participated in the
activities by their sincere emotions, responsibilities and deep gratitude for
the great contributions these heroic martyrs.

Besides taking
part in the Candlelight Ceremony at Martyrs' Cemetery in Hanoi, the Youth Union
of the PPA also coordinated with the Youth Union of Co Nhue 2 Ward organized
the other volunteer activities such as: care and help the policy families, care
for the graves, light the candles at the martyrs cemetery of the Ward. These
activities of the PPA’s Youth Union contributed to improving the tradition of
gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution; thereby, educated
the historical tradition, the sense of responsibility, gratitude of the young
generation in general and the youth members of the PPA in particular for his
father generations.
