1. Clarifying theoretical issues in the crime prevention in the offences against regulations on controlling of road traffic vehicles in Viet Nam according to results of studying the characteristics of criminology for this type of offenses.

2. Specifying the role of the characteristics of criminology in studying criminal situation and in devising solutions to improve the effectiveness of the crime prevention activities.

3. Clarifying the characteristics of criminology in the offence against regulations on controlling of road traffic vehicles in Viet Nam in period 2003 to 2014.

4. Indicating the inadequacies, difficulties and obstacles in the crime prevention by the People's Police Forces in view of the specialization of criminology.
