1. The thesis contributes to improving and supplementing theory of collection, evaluation and use of evidence in investigating of illegal drug trafficking cases in Hanoi under the functions of drug crime investigation police force.

The thesis predicts related situations of collection, evaluation and use of evidence in investigating of illegal drug trafficking cases in Hanoi under the functions of drug crime investigation police force; organization and the apparatus of the drug crime investigation police force; the status of coordination relations of drug investigation police force in collecting, evaluating and using of evidence.

3. The thesis gives forecasts on the situation of illegal drug trafficking crimes and factors affecting the collection, assessment and use of evidences in the investigation of narcotic trafficking cases of the investigation police force in the coming time; proposing the system of specific solutions to enhance the effectiveness of this activity.
