On February
17th, Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the
PPA and Major General, Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the Academy had a
Meeting with the Survey Team of Korean International Cooperation Agency in
Vietnam (KOICA) on the implementation of the project for establishment e-library
at the PPA. Attending the Meeting were Representatives of relevant units such as
Center of Scientific Information and Academic Materials, Project Management
Department, Logistics Department, etc.
At
the Meeting, Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA
announced the situation of construction and layout at the 12-floor library of
the Academy as well as the preparation of capital, personnel, facilities, etc. for
the implementation of the project for establishment e-library at the PPA in the
coming time.

Speaking
at the Meeting, Mr. Kim Sik Hyun, Deputy Chief Representative of KOICA in Vietnam
expressed his pleasure as the project was approved by the Korean National
Assembly. At the same time, he also mentioned some points that the Academy would
pay attention in the process of project implementation and hope that with the
efforts of both sides, the project would be implemented in the soonest time.

to the plan, the PPA and the KOICA are going to sign the Record of Discussions
on February 21st, 2014.
