Implementing Plan No. 44/KH-BCA-X11
dated 04/3/2016 of the Minister of Public Security on organizing Workshop
“Current situation and development orientation of Center of Archives and
Library in the training institutions of the Public Security force”, on May 6th,
2016, the PPA solemnly held Scientific Workshop “Development Orientation of
Center of Archives and Library of People's Police Academy” under the chairman
of Major General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA.

With a view to celebrating Liberation
of South Vietnam (April 30th), International Workers’ Day (May 1st) and 48
years of establishment of the PPA (May 15th, 1968 - May 15th, 2016 ), on April
28th, 2016, the PPA in collaboration with Hanoi Metropolitan University
organized the sporting and cultural exchange program. This event welcomed
astonishing performances and massive support from the students, especially
those from Hanoi Metropolitan University.

On
April 26th, 2016, the PPA organized the Closing ceremony of English
language courses for the students of high quality classes of the PPA in 2016.

Implementing the direction of the PPA’s Directorate on
improving the reading culture among officers, teachers and students, in the
morning of April 25th, 2016, the Center of Archives and Library in
coordination with the Department of Political Theory - Social Science and Humanity
organized the "Book exhibition on President
Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the Vietnam Book Day and the anniversary of 126th
birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (19/5/1890 - 19/05/2016)".

On April 12th, 2016, the
People's Police Academy organized the 70th
anniversary of Traditional Day of Criminal police forces (18/04/1946 - 18/04/2016)
and the career orientation seminar for students in order to review their long-standing
tradition, help them further understand the practical fighting work of the
forces as well as to enhance the attachment between theory and practice, contribute to the improvement of the quality
in education and training of the People's Police Academy.

In the lively atmosphere to celebrate 48 years of
establishment of the PPA, on April 8th, 2016, the Basic Profession Department solemnly held
ceremony to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the traditional day of
the unit (15/5/1968 – 15/5/2016).

To accomplish
sucessfully the mission of work, contribute to building the PPA to become the
key national university in 2018, on April 7th, 2016, the PPA’s Faculty
of Law organised the signing ceremony of MoU with the Faculty of Law of Vietnam
National University (VNU).

On March 25th, 2016, the PPA in collaboration with the
Embassy of the United States in Vietnam and the Regional English Language Office
in Hanoi (RELO) held the closing ceremony of the Workshop “Strategies for
building English materials for specialty of Traffic Police at all level”. This
activity was within the framework of the stage 2 of the project “Training English
language for Public Security forces in Vietnam” in 2016 of the Embassy of the
United States according to the orientation of the leadership of the Ministry of
Public Security.

Towards the 70th anniversary of
Financial force in Public Security force (April 17th, 1946 - April 17th, 2016)
and 45th anniversary of the PPA’s establishment (May 15th, 1968- May 15th, 2016),
on March 28th, 2016, the Financial Division in collaboration with the advisory
units held the Financial units’ Football Tournament Open 2016.

With the permission
of leaders of Ministry of Public Security, on 22nd March, 2016, the PPA
held the opening ceremony of 1st training course for officers planned to be
Deputy Head of Department and equivalence in People’s Public Security forces in
2016.

In the lively atmosphere of the Youth Month in the whole the
country, in the morning of 25th March, 2016, the PPA held the meeting
to celebrate the 85 anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh
Communist Youth Union (26/3/1931 - 26/3/2016).

Responding
to the ‘’Open Day’’ movement and taking the task of university enrollment in
2016, on March 3rd, 2016, staffs of the PPA’s Training Management
Department, the Youth Union and students excitedly joined in the 2016 “Entrance
Exam Counseling Festival” in 2016.

confirming its position and reputation as one of the leading political
theoretical - professional agencies of the Public Security forces.

To welcome to the success of the 12nd Party Congress,
celebrate the 85th anniversary of establishment of Ho Chi Minh
Communist Youth Union (26/03/1931 – 26/03/2016) and the 60th
anniversary of Traditional Day of Youth Union of the Ministry of Public
Security (1956-2016), on 14th March, 2016, the MPS’s Youth Union in
cooperation with other functional units celebrated "4th Festival of Youth People's Public Security Martial
Art in northern region in 2016" at the C500 Stadium in the People's
Security Academy.
