Towards the 70-year anniversary of the
traditional day of People's Police Forces (August 19th, 1945 -
2015), the 10 years of festival of nation security protection of the whole
people and the Vietnamese Teacher's Day (20th November), on November
4th, 2014, at the indoor sporting hall, the PPA held a opening ceremony
of Football - Table Tennis tournament for all officers, teachers, employees and
students. Major General, Dang Xuan Khang, Vice President of the PPA and leaders
of the functional units attended and cheered for the athletes.

Towards the 70th founding anniversary of
the People’s Army and the People’s Police, in the evening of October 24th,
2014, the youth of the two forces formally organized “Responding Ceremony for
coordinating program among Youth Unions of training institutions of People’s
Police and academies, schools, units of People’s Army” to concretize the
program, the contents that were united between the General Department of Building-up
People’s Police Force and General Department of Political of People's Army.

Implementing the direction of the
Party Committee, Directorate Board of the PPA, on October 9th, 2014,
the PPA was formally held the 16th Academic Congress of the Ho Chi
Minh Communist Youth Union of the PPA for the term 2014 -2017.

On October 13th, 2014, the PPA
solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the new school year 2014 - 2015. Mr.
Nguyen Sinh Hung, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly attended

On October 2nd, the PPA held the Launching
ceremony for special emulation movement to celebrate 70 traditional years of
Public Security Force, awarded the 30-year Party membership badges for members
of the Party Committee of the PPA and disseminate Resolution of 9th
Party Central Committee (term XI) under the leadership of Major General, Prof.Dr.
Nguyen Huy Thuat, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice President of the
Academy.

To implement effectively the curriculum
of specialties of Criminal Procedure Law and Criminal Justice for civil
training system of the PPA, on September 18th, 2014, the PPA held the
scientific Seminar “Cooperation in training specialties of Criminal Procedure
Law and Criminal Justice between Laws Faculty of the PPA and the judicial
agencies of North Tu Liem district”.

On September 8th, 2014,
the PPA in cooperation with the Public Security Department of Phu Tho Province held
the Seminar "Application of monitoring camera systems to detect and handle
traffic violations by the image".

The PPA is the first training institution
within the universities of MPS implemented the project on program outcome
standard. This is a new progressive step in improving the training quality of
the PPA, contributing to building the Academy to become the key training
institution of the MPS and the Nation.

“The police training institutions that have not applied the outcome standards need to urgently research the experience of the People's Police Academy and the People’s Security Academy to build the outcome standards project and implement from the academic year 2015-2016” was the guiding instruction of Major General, Prof.Dr. Truong Giang Long, Deputy Director General of Building-up Force, President of the People’s Public Security Political Academy at the Preliminary Conference for 5-year implementation of outcome standards held by the PPA on September 11th, 2014.

On September 3rd, the PPA
solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony, presenting Bachelor’s Degree for
students of the 35th fulltime course, school year 2009-2014.

To celebrate 69 years of August
Revolution and National Day, on August 28th,2014, the PPA formally
organized the Graduation Ceremony and awarded Bachelor’s Degree for 27th
crash course under the chairmanship of Senior Colonel, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen
Thien Phu, Vice President of the PPA.

From 30th July to 1st
August, 2014, the PPA’s senior delegation led by Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr
Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the Academy visited and exchanged experiences in
training at the Ton Duc Thang University, the People’s Police University, the
People’s Security University and the University
of Natural Sciences - National University of Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).

To celebrate 69-year traditional day of the
Public Security force (19th August, 1945 - 19th August, 2014),
36 leaders and former leaders of the PPA and units within the Academy through
periods were awarded the Fatherland Defense Order 3rd Class by the
President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for outstanding achievements in
training and servicing the fight; building the force; keeping the political
security, social order and safety; contributing to the cause of socialist development
and national defense.

On July 24th, 2014, the PPA
held the Conference to sum up the results of the academic year 2013 - 2014,
implement the task in new school year 2014 - 2015 and the periodic Party
meeting in 2014.
