On September 24th,
2013, at the Cultural Centre of Cam Khe District, the PPA in cooperation with
the Public Security Department of Phu Tho Province and the Youth Union of Cam
Khe District held the program on cultural exchange and presenting the Certificate
of Merit to the officers and students of the PPA for their excellent
achievements during the social and political practice period in Cam Khe
District.

In the
framework of the project “Support to strengthen traffic police training in the
PPA and other police training institutions in Vietnam”, on September 21st,
2013, the PPA held the opening Ceremony on training course for driving specific patrol
motorcycles and patrol cars.

On September 18th,
2013, at the PPA, 400 students of the
26th continuous training course upgrading to university in year of 2010 - 2013
attended the closing ceremony on presenting the graduated certificate.

On
September 18th, at the High Command of Mobile Police, the PPA held
the closing ceremony on the 4th in-service alliance training course
in school year 2008-2013.

On September 18th,
2013, the Prudence foundation from the Prudential Life Insurance Company in
Vietnam in collaboration with the PPA awarded 50 scholarships to outstanding
students overcoming difficulties .

On September
16th, 2013, the PPA in collaboration with the University of Education – Vietnam
National University, Hanoi held the opening Ceremony on the further training
course on pedagogical skills in 2013 for the lecturers, Training management
officials of the Ministry of Public Security.

On September 12th,
the PPA held the closing ceremony on postgraduate course and presented the
Master Degree Certificate for those who graduated the Master Course 2010-2012.

On August 30th, two electronic
shooting-ranges at PPA funded by the project DA/01/2005 of the Ministry of
Public Security were inaugurated to use for training and studying at the
Academy.

On 30th
August, 2013, the PPA held the appearing ceremony on Traffic Safety Research
Center.

On 29th
July, the PPA held a ceremony on announcing decision of ranking and salary
promotion for 173 police officers and staffs who are currently working at the Academy.
Attending and presiding the ceremony was Senior Colonel, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen
Thien Phu, Vice President of the PPA, leadership representatives of the
functional units within the PPA and all of promoted officers in this time.

On 27th July, 2013, the PPA Youth
Union participated in first cross-country blood donation campaign with the
title of “Red Journey” at My Dinh stadium, Hanoi.

On 26th
July, 2013, on the occasion of celebrating 66th anniversary of War Invalid and
Martyrs Day (27th July, 1947 – 27th July, 2013), the PPA’s
Youth Union, led by Colonel Dang Duc Nghia, Head of Party, Politics and Organization’s
Movement Management Department visited and presented gift for war invalids,
sick soldiers and relatives of the martyr’s families.

On 22nd
July, 2013, the PPA held the flag Ceremony to open the new school year
2013-2014 and inaugurated the exhibition hall of traditional costumes of ethnic
minority groups in Vietnam. Attending the Ceremony, there were Lieutenant
General, Prof.Dr Nguyen Xuan Yem, President of the PPA and the Directorates,
officers, lecturers and students of the Academy.

On the occasion of welcoming anniversary
marking the PPA’s 45 year traditional day (15th May, 1968 – 15th May, 2013),
artists in the Vietnam Youth Theater Troupe performed a drama with the title of
“Bao Hieu” in PPA on 9th May, 2013.

From 22nd and 23rd
April, 2013, the PPA delegation led by Major
General Nguyen Xuan Yem, director of the PPA paid a trip in Ly Son
island district.
