In emulative
atmosphere to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the foundation of
the PPA (May 15th, 1968 – May 15th, 2014), on April 5th,
the PPA in collaboration with the Steering Committee of voluntary blood
donation of the Ministry of Public Security, the Faculty of Hematology - Blood Transfusion
of the Ministry of Public Security Hospital held the blood donation program.
The program attracted the participation of a lot of students, especially 1000
first year students of the PPA and numbers of officials, lecturers of the PPA.

On the evening of April 1st, the Department of Student Management
held solemnly the Opening Ceremony for the 3rd contest of the best
class Monitor in 2014 of the PPA.

Implementation of Memorandum of Cooperation in
education and training between the PPA and Department of Public Security of
Hanoi Capital; with the consent of the Board of Directors of the two Agencies,
on March 25th, at Great Hall of the Long Bien district police, Faculty
of Anti-economic related Crime Investigation of the PPA in coordination with the
Public Security force of Long Bien district, the Department of Public Security
of Hanoi Capital co-chaired the scientific Seminar: “Practice of prevention and
suppression of economic crime in Long Bien district”.

On March 27th, the PPA held the Closing
Ceremony for further training course on pedagogical skills for lecturers and education
management officials of the Police Training Institutes in order to review and
summarize the process of teaching of studying of the course.

Under the
direction of General Director of General Department of Building Force and the Training
Department of MPS on dividing the tasks of compiling the joint teaching and
learning materials and curriculum at the level of public
security university and colleges, on March 21st, the PPA held the
meeting to discuss the cooperation in compiling the joint learning materials and curriculum to be used in police training programs between the
People's Police Academy and the People's Police University.

As a part of the
festival week "Youths of the Academy of Journalism and Communication
toward the Homeland’s sea and islands", on March 22nd, 2014, at
the Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC), the camping festival with
title “From Dien Bien Phu to Homeland’s sea and island" with many
attractive programs was co-held by the youths of the AJC, the PPA and National Academy
of Public Administration (NAPA).

With the consent of the Party Committee, Board of
Directors of the PPA, on March 25th, the Faculty of Traffic Police
in collaboration with the functional units of the Academy held the Seminar
“Career orientation for students of specialty of Traffic Police”.

To define
further the target and key tasks of Resolution No. 29 on "Fundamental and
comprehensive innovation of education and training", as well as promote
the role and position, foster motivation of development for the lecturers in
general and the PPA’s female ones in particular during the renovation period,
on March 18th, the Committee for the Advancement of Women organized the
Seminar on building the PPA’s female lecturers to meet the demand of the
educational reform.

Implementing the
MOU on coordination in professional training of criminal investigations for the
Customs Control forces between the PPA and the General Department of Customs,
on March 24th, 2014, PPA held the opening ceremony the 3rd
professional training courses on criminal investigations for customs control forces.

Implementing the work program of the school year
2013-2014, on March 25th, the Department of Foreign Languages in
collaboration with others units within the PPA held the Contest “Who strikes
the golden bell” for all first-year students to create lively atmosphere and
further enhance the motivation of learning English for students from the first
school year. This was the opportunity for the lecturers and students to
exchange and improve the social knowledge through the questions in English.

With
the aims of reviewing the process of foundation and development of the Ho Chi
Minh Communist Youth Union during the past 83 years, creating the opportunity
for the youth of the PPA to express their gratitude to the contributions of generations
of Youth Union officials of PPA over
periods; on March 24th, the PPA held the Meeting to celebrate the 83th
founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and exchange with
generations of Youth Union officials of the PPA.

Public Security, on March 20th, 2014, the People's Police Academy
(PPA) and the People’s Security Academy (PSA) solemnly held the Signing Ceremony
of the Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding.

In the framework of annual activities of the Women's
Union of the PPA, on March 6th, 2014, the Women's Union Branch of
Education 2 visited and presented gifts for the pediatric patients at the
National Institute of Burns (Phuc La ward, Ha Dong district).

On March 12th,
2014, the PPA held the Conferences to study the contents of the Chapter IV “National
Defence" in the amended Constitution 2013 for all officers, lecturers,
employees of the PPA. Attending and directing the conference was Major General,
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Thuat, Vice President of the PPA.

Under the direction of the leadership of the Ministry of
Public Security on enhancing the movement “Public Security Forces learns and
follows the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh", on March 6th,
2014, the PPA held the conference to implement the moral example of President Ho
Chi Minh on ideology "Raising high the spirit of responsibility,
anti-individualism, talking along with doing”.
